Step 1: Gather Materials

  • A soft measuring tape or a piece of string (if you don’t have a tape).

  • A ruler or a standard measuring tape for length measurement.

  •

Step 2: Prepare for Measurement

  • Ensure you're wearing your hair in a normal style (not pulled up) as this can affect the size.

  • Stand in front of a mirror for easier measurement.

  •

Step 3: Measure Head Circumference

  • Position the Tape: Place the measuring tape around the widest part of your head, which is typically just above your eyebrows and around the back of your head.

  • Adjust the Tape: Make sure the tape is snug but not too tight. It should sit level on your head, not tilted.

  • Read the Measurement: Take the measurement in centimeters or inches. If you used string, mark where it overlaps, then measure that length with a ruler.

Step 4: Refer to the Size Chart

  • Consult the manufacturer’s size chart for the specific helmet you’re considering. Different brands may have slightly different sizing.

  • Compare your measurement to the chart to determine your size (S, M, L,).
